Default The D750 is back from recall

We had a D750 that got recalled recently. We boxed it up, sent it to Nikon service, two weeks later we got the camera back looking like new with a new shutter with 6-month warranty at no charge for shipping or for the repairs. Very satisfied with the service.

The 6 month warranty is a good deal.... unless it was brand new to begin with. Hope it performs for much longer than that too.

Got mine back last Friday. It took 3 weeks for the out and back trip but who is counting. Brand new shutter mechanism and a replaced rubber grip I didn't know I had a problem with. They cleaned the sensor as well. No charge, no complaints.

How did you determine you needed to send your D750 in for SHUTTER RECALL.? Is it by serial number or were you notified of a recall. I have a D750 and was not of aware of a recall.

It is by serial number and I think it is on the Nikon website under service advisories.
