Default I've become a Sigma EX lens-snob...

It's coincidence, surely!!!

With the arrival of my 10-20mm, and the impending arrival of the 150mm Macro, am I doomed to have an all-EX lens lineup? I mean, I KNOW there are other lens manufacturers out there, but...

Now, just add the 30mm 1.4 and you'll be set. BTW, I have had that setup...it's pretty good. Also, the 24-60mm 2.8 is nice....as is the 70-200mm 2.8. Enjoy your Sigmas!

I also have those two lenses. I was out west in Utah recently and I think about 90% of the pics I took were with the 10-20. And the others were with the 150 macro. Love both of them.

I have the 30mm 1.4 and love it. I must say I had the Sigma 70-200 2.8, but now own the Nikon version, which is a much better lens.

reddeathdrinker,

How about the "Bigmas"? The 50-500 or the 150-500 OS? Or maybe the 200-500 f/2.8. Adorama has one in a Nikon mount for the tidy little sum of $24,499.

You know what they say..No Guts, No Glory!

One thing to be mindful of, is that you might have errant behavior from your lenses, if you ever upgrade to a new body. Sigma has to reverse engineer the AF on each and every new Nikon body. They are always willing to re-chip the lens for you, once they manufacture a solution, but I will warn you, that a buddy of mine has a 150mm 2.8 macro that works perfectly on his D300, but still has problems AFing on his D3, even after the lens had a trip to Sigma.

I trust you love your lenses, but a snob? Maybe just a proud owner?

Whatever we are, I am one also.

Here is my Sigma EX lens list. One added today, a 300-800mm.

I am thinking about the 10-20mm. (but not this month!)

. Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG AF
. Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 APO EX DG AF
. Sigma 300-800mm f/5.6 APO EX AF
. Sigma APO EX DG 1.4 Teleconverter
. Sigma APO EX DG 2.0 Teleconverter
