Default Nikon 400 2.8 VR
Have a 400 2.8 VR on order just heard from Nikon that it will not be available till
the end of January or early February. Just wondering if anyone else has been told anything different.

Supposedly limited quantities were to be available on Nov. 30, but other than that I haven't heard anything else except that all the superteles should be available sometime in the first quarter of next year.

8000 grand for that lens is an investment.it will always be a super duper lens.10,20 years from now and further.whats the life of a current top of the line canon OR NIKON FOR 8000 BUCKS?WISH I HAD 8000 EXTRA DOLLERS.Id get the lens in a heartbeat.
