Default WB Options

Wanted to see what most of you use for your default WB setting (if you do, in fact, have a default). Seems a couple of big name Nikon guys like "Cloudy -3". Have not gone to RAW yet so am curious which works best for JPEG? Thanks

I used cloudy -3 on my D70, but find that auto works well on my D200.

On the D200 I generally keep the WB on Auto for the most part. Funny to say that, but I also see quite a few D200 shooters on the lines that do the same, darn thing.

There are times when I do a custom WB on the D200 so I can't say that I use auto all the time.

On the D100, I found I liked WB Cloudy -2 better than -3

AUTO also works just fine for the D80. And no, I never use RAW. I've done modeling sessions with up to 2,000 shots and all for on-line. I have better uses for my time.

Cloudy -2 or -3 for the D70 in daylight, Shade +3 for when using a polarizer.

AUTO works best on the D80. I shoot in RAW mode so adjusting WB is easy. Tom
