Default Sigma 120-300 2.8 + Nikon Teleconverter

I'm ready to make the jump to a Sigma 120-300 2.8. I currently have a Nikon 1.7 Teleconverter for my 70-200 2.8 lens. Will this teleconverter work on the Sigma lens?

Thanks

Rich

I thought that's what I read, but wanted to make sure. I'm sure its better to go with the sigma and get a working solution.

Thanks

Good luck. That's a lens many are very curious about. Personally I think it's a fantastic focal range. I wish Nikon would build one with VR ... along with a 70-200 f/4 AF-S VR and an 18-70 f/2.8 AF-S
