MB-D10 from eBay

So today I encountered another curiosity. I'm looking up gear prices on KEH, and decide to see what they have in the way of MB-D10 grips.

So I ordered it. Don't know why the BGN was twice the price of the EX+, or why this one is 1/3 the price of the one that comes with the AA tray ... which they sell separately for $15.

last night I picked up a gripped D300 from a Craigslist seller - my new backup body.
I have the grip I bought with my D300s (that's the one with issues).
There's the plastic one that started this thread, which will be going on eBay soon.
When KEH delivers, I'll have #4.
In the end, I hope to end up with two working grips and one for parts.

well - there's the grip on my D200 too - but that will be leaving for a new home as soon as I can get it sold.

Got this grip from KEH - it's a Zeikos ZE-NBG300, not an MB-D10, and I'd rate it at about 6 out of 10 - not even close to an EX+ condition. Time for me to experience KEH customer service.

This saga seems to have come to a close. KEH resolved the Zeikos grip situation to my satisfaction (and then some), and I now appear to have working MB-D10 grips for both of my bodies.
