More play with the TC-20E 2x Teleconverter (now with Football)
This is some stuff from a little while back using the TC-20E attached to the 70-200mm f/2.8G AF-S VR.* All are at ISO 200, converted with Capture One and edited in Photoshop.
 340mm, f/8  400mm, f/7.1  400mm, f/7.1  400mm, f/7.1  400mm, f/8.* This one seems to be suffering from JPEG compression for web, LOL. Overall, this seems to be working out.* AF hunts a bit, but snaps back fairly fast (especially for a f/5.6), especially with the focus limiter switch on. __________________

Here are some shots from Friday's football game (ISO 320):
 400mm, f/8.  400mm, f/7.1  380mm, f/7.1  400mm, f/7.1 This combo gets the job done, stopped down at the expense of DOF. Hunts a bit when using AF, but that is expected. Works a hell of a lot better than a 70-300mm f/4-5.6 G or ED Nikkor. __________________
