Very interesting... Very interesting indeed.
3 fps for up to 100 frames in jpg fine - Medium size file. This means that larger jpg fine large files will be shooting at less than 3 fps in fastest mode. No big deal for most, but nature photographers will be looking to the D200 if they upgrade from the D70s for higher resolution. For those seeking higher megapixel count and not interested in super speed, this D80 could be the ticket. Retouch menu is interesting... makes you wonder if this camera really is the successor to the D70s or if it's the upgrade to the D50, but with a menu set that is clearly following the D2x and D200 patterns of flexibility... The monochrome and other such settings such as sepia also could be interesting as you can do this in camera. Can't wait to see some people's opinions... that is for those that already have played with this new camera. Julio |
