Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle, 40 feet down, Crescent Bay, Kona

It is resting under a large rock. The turtle is about 4 feet long.

Taken with a single external strobe (my other one had long since died on this trip).

Scuba. Not a good enough snorkeler to take photos 40 feet down

The turt was shot with a Sealife DC1000 point & shoot with one functioning strobe (the other was brand new and it flooded due to manufacturing defect)/

Excellent! Got a laugh about the 40feet free-dive..... in my old days we used to free dive to 60 and just hang around for a few. Now I'd be lucky to make 10. Had to ask though as a few friends are current free diving champions and a few non-competitive who stay down for +- 4 minutes with no prep or problems.
