My wife and I decided to go out looking for little ones yesterday afternoon. It was a nice day for a drive and of course taking the cameras too.
![]() This little fella was sticking pretty close to mom. He would romp and play, but any little disturbance and back he would go. He will have some friends to play with in about another month. They have two more due then. The neighbors have one that was probably born last night. I am going to try and stop by this afternoon to see how things are going. Hopefully I can get a few pictures. ![]() ![]() These came from a a farm that raises buffalo. The first picture is of two little guys that are being bottle fed. They were glad to see us and came running right up wanting food I'm sure. The second picture is one of about 8 that are out in the pastures. It is a little harder getting these because the herd tries to keep the calves in the middle of the herd for protection. ![]() Here is one with a member of the herd keeping a close eye out for strangers. Thanks, Jim __________________

Thanks everyone for your comments. I have to say that we have been pleasantly surprise as we stop to talk to people when taking pictures. Being in the era of people being concerned about getting sued, broken into and just plain worried about what you might be up to. Everyone was very happy to let us roam around and talked to us for what seemed like forever. One gentleman said that we could stop in anytime. They didn't have to be thier, just go on in the gate is unlocked. Very refreashing and reminds you of days gone by.
Now that I think of it. This could be a good series to work on. I think I might have to work on this a little bit.* ![]() Thanks again everyone. Jim __________________
