Default Doe at attention

On some of my walks through our local game preserve I am lucky enough to find all kinds of birds and mammals. While photographing Herons the other day, I saw movement in the grass and waited until this doe came out of the tall grass. She looked at me for several minutes and allowed all kinds of photos to be taken before finally slowly walking in front of me to go to the wooded area.

Beautiful - I like how the grass is soft and seems to curve around her, caress her even, and there she is just looking at you.
