Default "Once In A Lifetime"

Its not often you get to see one of these guys as close as I got to see one tonight...Unless he steps out in front of your car!!

We were out on the golf course this evening and there is a huge marsh to the left of the 4th hole...I hit my second shot to the green a looked to the left and there she was just standing there in the middle of the marsh!! Ive been a member at this course for 4 years and never have seen a moose in this marsh, and I play alot of golf!! I just happen to have my camera cause' Ive been shooting some shots for the course lately and I always bring it with me just in case the right light shows itself. The funny thing about moose is when they see you they usully just stand in one spot and stare but this little girl kept coming closer and closer!! I think I took about 90 shots in 10 minutes...I was a very happy camper!!

"Moose Calf" all shots taken with 40D and canon 70-200 f2.8L

First encounter

Curious

Comfortable

Im out of here...

What a night!!
Garren

3rd one is unreal. Scary good in fact. Speaking of scary, you are lucky "mamma" moose was not there, or you would probably be sending these from your hospital bed! I hear they are about the most protective mothers in nature.

Great job!
