Default Fruit bat

Hi.

I don't normally post here - largely because I'm surrounded by cows & sheep - nothing particularly interesting (unless you're a bull or a ram of course !!).

This chap, and a couple of thousand others just like him live in a handful of trees in the grounds of a temple in Bang Khla, about 80 km east of Bangkok, Thailand.

Any C&C would be welcome.

That's a good shot.It would be better if the whole critter was in focus. How close were you?

I'd guess about 30 feet. It was shot using a 400 mm zoom 1/160 @ f5.6. The wee brutes were moving about (despite it being the middle of the day), so I couldn't drop the speed much to increase dof.

Here are a couple of other shots. the focus might be a bit sharper, but I refer the composition of the original.
