Default White Pine Tree, pine cone

One of my favorite trees, is the White Pine Tree. I bought 20 acres of soy beans field, and have been planting trees for the last twenty years. The white pine trees are finally big enough to start dropping some nice pine cones. I picked this one along with a bunch of others, and spread them out to dry, and collect the seeds. I just liked the way this one looked, it was hard to copy what I seen, so I did some processing on it and called it good.

That's a neat effect! Looks kinda like a painting. How neat to have 20 acres of your own woods to roam. Seems like there could be lots of photo opportunities there.

Thanks Elaine, it has taken a while, but the trees are getting there, and I have a nice pond, that has turned into a real mini lake. With lots of blue gills, and large mouth bass, which bring in the Heron, and muskrats, which bring in the Hawks, and alot of birds. I have quite a few little web pages showing different pictures.
