That better be food...
..is the message that seemed to be implied
 This parakeet [i think] is part of an aviary exhibit at the Fort Worth Zoo. Its a free exhibit, and you can purchase seed to feed them if you choose. You can wander through the 5000 or so sq.ft as long as you like. This was taken in August, 2005 shortly after we acquired our 20D, with the stock ES-F 18-55mm from about 4ft away. Thank you Jared.
I'm still in the "dumb luck" mode, shooting every shot in every mode to learn our camera & its functionality.* *But I was personally pleased to see several of our zoo shots, taken with this grade of camera, turn out so clear.* There is so much to learn, but this forum seems like a great place to learn as well as post my photos & be offered opinions or options on how to get that optimum shot.
