Hello Camels!
After a visit to the Singapore Botanic Gardens (this is as close as we get to nature here), I was educated on how beautiful a banana plant can be! I hope the picture shows it. Enjoy! __________________

No blue sky today!
It is two weeks now from the first photograph here. The whole thing is getting longer now. The leaves are gradually drying and will later start to fall off, revealing the little bananas. As yet they are not really visible in this shot, as they are still very small. Enjoy. Sean. |

Oh Yes!
Bananas have come visible in week 4! For better angle I changed from the 55mm to the 135mm lens, to stand a bit further and higher up. This gives me a better angle. You can see the bananas in between the leaves. Enjoy. Sean. |

Sighs,
angry with myself this week. Mixed up some of my CF cards. My computer is with me in the West of Singapore and the Banana pictures for week 5 are in the East of Singapore and safely out of reach > ![]() There was not too much of a development this week though. You can already see more of the little bananas now, but there's still growth to be expected. We still have several weeks to go here, but I'm not quite sure when I can provide pictures again, as I have to go to Beijing for a good week. Yes it's for my job and I actually get paid to there. I hope to bring some other nice picture from there. Cheerio. Sean. |

Ok. So it took a cab in the lunch break from West Coast to East Coast and back. Fortunately that's easier done in S'pore than in the States!
More bananas then! Yes they're getting bigger. Looks almost edible now. Cheers. Sean. SIGMA SD10, Monopod, NIKKOR 2.8/135 & MICRO NIKKOR 2.8/55 |

Gee, you didn't have to go to all that trouble. We could have waited 'til we heard the blender start.
