How much have you spent on iPad apps?

Apple makes it easy to drop a dollar here, four dollars there.

Did you budget for this? Are app purchases "mad money"?

How much have you spent, in all, do you think?

I'm sure I've spent in the hundreds. I have a few apps that were in the $20 - $30 range, but most are a few bucks here and there. I use mine for absolutely everything, so if an app looks useful, I get it.

No real budgeting here for apps. If I think it will be useful or sounds interesting I check it out and download it. I dont like free apps unless you can get an ad free version.

Most of the apps are cheap, but I bought the TomTom version for iPad and that was expensive

I've seen too many apps go on sale for .99. Now I wait till that happens for anything over a buck or two.

If you also mean iPhone apps......a big zero...unfortunately, some have adverts that eat into my monthly allowance

My iPad and iPhone are indispensable, so if I find an app that is useful, I get it whether its free or not. I'll admit, some are way over priced and some of the free ones will drive you crazy with all the advertisements. Funny thing...I'm on my iPad right now and don't have the app for forums such as this one. If it got better reviews, I'd have it.
