good luck. these cameras can be really good. get yourself a decent lightmeter and be prepared for nice results. BTW, got myself a nice kiev-60 with Zeiss Biometar 80/2.8. Looking for weather and time to try it out.

WOW, I'm to late in this tread
I hope you got decent camera body. Now if you can track down some original Zeiss Jena glass!
I liked Pentacon Six enough to buy Pentax 67.
Heavy as a brick... it is good for 1/30 w/o blur!
BTW, I'm bias to Illford film... Oh I miss my Pentax

Have fun with medium format

I got biometar MC 80/2.8 and flectogon non-MC (zebra) 50/4. Tried both and I do like, what I saw.

What did you buy Pentax for? Are they compatible? I thought that pentax 67 glass is almost as good as it gets. Why use DDR lenses?

Black and white is what i use for my small Olympus XA rangefinder. MF is more for big color photos.

To be brief: I used Pentacon and Practica many years ago.
From Japanese cameras Pentax 67 replaced Pentacon and bunch of Nikons (FM2, N90) replaced Pratica. Glass was very close to Zeiss, bodies better.
Pentax was my choice after using Bronica. For my self I have been shooting B&W, for work color (and used 4X5).

check out film counter condition first - thatś what iskras are infamous for. Optics and leather are okay, but film counters brake often, so lots of iscras have self-made red windows in the back.
Anyway Iskra is a copy of agfa isolette, maybe you should look for this one instead?

The Iskra is a copy of an Agfa Super Isolette which go for a chunk on ebay.
And lacks the coolness factor an Iskra has since there are not that many (working copies) around in the US.

I'm waiting to try this when the lens arrives from being professionally cleaned:

Voigtlander 6x9 Bessa RF, 1937 and has a coupled rangefinder, too.
