Anyone ever used one of these?
I've been having trouble finding reviews of more than one or two sentences, though I did find some better prices. Normally I'm wary of teleconverters, but for what a reputable used goods dealer was asking (under $100) the price is rather attractive. I only have an 80mm, and probably won't be getting another lens for my 500CM any time soon, but this item (and a strap) intrigued me. __________________

Well, for $72 the price seemed right. I was buying other used odds and ends anyways so I lumped this into the order. All of the one to two sentence reviews said good things about the intended use ("Good for portraits; maintains center sharpness with some loss in corners."), so I figured I'd give it a shot.
Will report back with findings when I get the things (and some free time). |

Well, even if it's a total dog I'm only out about 20 rolls of film. Who knows how many of those 240 shots would have been good anyhow. =)
At least it shouldn't leak like a Holga; at least I know the image will be there. Will give this thing a try when I get a chance. |
