Default High Res Scans?

I have a bunch of old work still on chrome film that I would love to get scanned and get in front of people again. My question is, who is everybody using for Hi res scans of their medium and large format transparencies?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

If you have a lot to scan, you might be better off looking for a really good scanner with media adapter for scanning transparencies.

I know there have been some on here who have scanners dedicated to film, and others that can do medium format.

I think to scan 120 film is approx. $5 or something last I heard. So if you got over 100 to scan, might be worth it to buy one. Then you can still SHOOT FILM and scan your results yourself...

I use the Epson V700 with a holder from betterscaning.
It gives me wonderful scans.

Thanks Frank. In case any others wonder, this is one scanner that I figured one could buy rather than send off for scanning.

The Epson Perfection V700 is priced at $499 at B&H Photo, and their site says this about it:

Get professional quality results from virtually any photographic original with the Epson Perfection V700 Photo Flatbed Scanner. With groundbreaking 6400 dpi resolution, this powerful scanner consistently delivers precision color and detail, whether scanning slides, negatives or medium format film.

With a 4.0 Dmax, it offers exceptional image quality, excellent detail in shadow areas and remarkable tonal range. But, the Epson Perfection V700 Photo goes one step further. With its Dual Lens System, this innovative product automatically selects from two lenses for the desired scan resolution. Plus, with Digital ICE Technologies, you can easily remove dust and scratches from film, and many types of surface defects from prints, minimizing costly retouching. And, with the convenient film holders included, you can even batch scan multiple slides and negatives to increase productivity.

That's the reason we tried it, and it stayed.
It now does all the scanning for the studio.
