Default 2 takes on a Lantern

Which do you prefer? And what would you suggest I change to lose the bright white of the front left pane of the lantern?

Thanks!

Prefer the full colour version. Is that front pane actually a plain white sheet in the lantern ?

No, it's the reflection of the sky, which is why I asked if there was a way to minimize the glare I thought everything else was nice about it! Thanks for the comment!

I'd suggest a circular polarizer filter to try and reduce the glare on the glass pane.

Agree with Mike - try a CP filter or perhaps a different shooting angle to reflect something darker.
