Default Beautiful day for Macros yesterday

Disappointed with my last postings I went back out yesterday to see what I could find.
The Ladybug is eating a gnat or something, not sure what caused the halo around it.
Any ID for number one?

Thanks for looking

No 1 is an incredibly beautiful micro moth, have no idea even which family.

Did that halo appear during post processing? Sharpening can do weird things.

Cheers

Steve,
Shot in raw, it seemed to to be mostly affected by saturation more than sharpening.
It was noticeable in the raw file, just not as bad.

Thanks

That first one is so lovely! They are all nice, but I am really taken by the subject in #1. Nature is amazing. And you're doing a great job capturing it.

Lovely images, but may I make a small enhancement to image #2 - using Local Auto-Levels of 2 pixels.
I believe it makes it come alive - what do you think?

Very nice set of close-ups.
