Greetings:
New to all this but am greatly attracted to macro. I am amazed at some of the shots I have seen on here! So,figured I might as well jump in and start learning all I can. Here are a some I got with a Canon 60mm this last spring in the Sonoran desert. I'm not sure that these qualify as macro or just close up? Maybe someone could tell me?

LOve the last shot

I reckon to be a macro shot it should not show more than about 5cms of the subject at the focus point.

#2 and 3 seem a bit over sharpened. Love the colors in all of them. #4 is really interesting since it's all yellow. Great idea
