I got both the Nikor 60mm f:2.8 Macro and the SB900 flash and I had tried them out together yesterday.
Let me know, btw I didn't have my tripod with me at my daughters house so these are all hand held. This is what my four year old Granddaughter got from me. Hehe ![]() This is what I spotted on there Tree, wishing everybody a Happy Safe and Healthy New Year.. ![]() __________________

I like the lighting and the OoF parts is very good.
But I think the PP has been overdone, the skin looks very plastic on my monitor! |

The Santa ornament looks nice, but I know it is hard to get detail in that stuff they make those beards out of. It seems to just flow together. Tree might be a tick too dark though.
The Barbie one is nice. I figured someone would comment on the "plasticky skin" But lets keep it down on the up-skirt comments, okay folks? ![]() Enjoy the new toy, as it looks like a great one. |

Skin looks too plasticy, too funny.
Thanks everyone for the comments. Mr P, I agree the tree was a bit dark and I had bounced my Flash with the white card and difuser so as to not over blow the beard. For some reason this Tree just ate up the light. Hehe, it was kinda dark but I got no details in the pine needles which I was hoping for. What I thought was real cool, is this Barbie has freckles which we couldn't see with the naked eye even with my reading glasses. |
