Default Wooley Bears
This little guy was walking acrossed the lawn this past Sunday. This is pretty much the only "bug" or "critter" that I'll pick up! His arrival is a sure sign Winter is on the way. If you believe the saying it will be a long, cold, hard one because of the long section of brown on him.

Hi Lori ... You've posted a lot of fine images lately, but I particularly like these. They sort of remind me of when I was younger and really enjoyed playing with these little guys. I like the avatar too.

Thank you so much Kelly. I was photographing sunflowers and I saw this little guy going acrossed the lawn and I couldn't resist! I too, have fond childhood memories of playing with them. I'm rather surprised I didn't wimp out!

I have taken so many images lately...I hope soon I can post more.

I'm glad someone else likes my avatar...I really haven't gotten any comments on it. Emily loves it too and wanted me to post it.

Yep - Nathan has had one of those accidentally fall onto him from a tree. I hadn't heard the child scream so loudly since he had to have stitches in his head. Poor little dear...
