Talking Macro Challenge #12 - Bubbles
The theme for our twelfth Macro Challenge is Bubbles

This challenge will run throughout the month of AUGUST.

You may submit your own original work shot during or before the challenge. I encourage everyone to get out and make some NEW photos for this challenge. Bubbles might seem like something you don't have, but if you think about it a little bit, we all come across various kinds in different places on a near daily basis.

Please post your images in this thread along with any technical information you would like to share such as camera, lens, shutter speed, aperture, iso, lighting conditions, post processing, location, subject details, etc.

At the end of the month, we'll all award karma for outstanding work.

Gday,

Dishwashing liguid bubbles - equipment used was Pentax K10D, Sigma 28-80 macro, 2xTC, built in flash. Used colour grad filter in PSE6.

The following 3 photos are of the same 60 year old carpenters level. The air bubble has been trapped for 60 years! This level was designed to enhance the ability to see the location of the bubble by turning the liquid green when normal lighting from the front is used, but the liquid becomes transparent when the lighting is from the back. Enjoy.
