Lovely shots Yannis. Never seen it but I believe some ants do milk plant hoppers. I have seen plant hoppers producing a fairly constant stream of bubbles at the rear end that burst so it could get messy

I don't know exactly, but I assume is for defense.
In the second set of shots, every time that the ant would go for the hopper, the hopper would turn its back side to stop the ant. I dont know if it was the bubble or some kind of chemical or the hairy think it self.Anyway the point is that the ant would go away in the and...
