Your welcome. Thanks for the warm welcome. I got the Karma; not quite sure what its good for, but its kinda like gettin a cold beer in a new bar. At least thats how im gonna look at it. I use Google for id's; if i run across something unusual, ill host a contest on my website; not really for the intellectual part; it's fun trippin up my friends. Plus, it's worked out well for me as far as exposure.

If I haven't misread the angle of the shot you took, I'm going with just a regular Leaf Footed Bug. From your previous posts, I gleaned that you live in central CA. So, I went to Google with my first cup of coffee, typed in CA beatle, made my way through 4 million Volkswagons, and came up with this.

thanks. I'm in Central FL, east coast. I see them on leaves and flowers. Havent ever ID'd them tho. May do that for the next contest, as I'm having a difficult time finding them. and.... umm.. I think your beatles may need a bit of privacy.

Susan-my iso was 200. My camera gets real noisy at higher iso settings. I like your bee shot. That's good.

pbmp- what kind of butterfly does that nasty caterpillar turn into? That's also a good shot. Keep em comin'.
