with my newish 50mm macro and extension tube. This is some plant or other that was given to us over Xmas.

This is with the extension tube poking into the stamen.

I shall monitor these pods closely for alien hatchlings...

Did you shoot jpeg for the second picture? The reds are really well exposed.

No it's in RAW (Olympus ORF). I used a longish exposure with the flash firing to the left on to a white card. Other shots I'd taken with the flash direct were just too garish in their colours.
