On this I believe I just had two soft boxes pointed down at the flower--one box on either side. The Canon 5D does the rest: the saturation and "look" of the photograph are down the camera, I think.

I'll invert your comment by saying a bad workman blames his tools In other words, I'm not sure how much the 5D contributed, though I agree that it's exceptional in capturing delicate detail. Were you not able to get such a shot with your previous cameras (knowing that you've always had a choice selection)?

One thing I know for sure: I never would have gotten such a shot with an Olympus.
