Fun With A Crystal Ball

Here are a couple more shots I took while having some fun with an old crystal ball. I was going to put this on the head of a Walking Staff but haven't found a staff I like enough yet!

These remind me of a SiFi Movie poster.

Anyway, they were fun and I have a few more ideas I will be playing with and trying to do good photography at the same time.

These are really nice Ken. Have you considered putting the ball on a mirror for the shots? Could be interesting!

Thanks for taking a look! This has been a fun experiment and the mirror sounds like it could be fun. I made a ring from a dried piece of cacus I was given and I think it will make a nice stand. I'll have to look around for some things to use with the Crystal and mirror. Since I am not going to get anyone to ride a Dulphin through the MilkyWay with Smarty Pants on, I'll have to settle for Crystals and Mirrors!.

Stay tuned and we will see what we can do!

A good place to look for Crystal balls and crystals in general are in New Age Stores, Wichen Stores, Places that deal in Ren Fair Items also the internet.

My crystal was a gift from a young lady who worked with stained glass. I made her some Cedar Triangular Stands for a few pieces of her glass work.

It's also good luck to have yours blessed!

I think it is great that you want to play with them as well! Crystals have life and are great fun!!! Let us know how you do!

And yes, I am a bit of a paradox! My beleifs vary from the norm in a lot of ways but I find no conflects in my beleifs. I totally believe in a Supeme Good as in a Supreme Evil and I hve witnessed them both in War!! Enough of this, Have fun with your experiments!

Thanks for the tip Athena! I would have had this Rube Goldberg, fog machine going! The neigborhood would have been fogged in, the fire departments would have thought another fire was going on and I would have ended up in Jail!

Wow, all that just for a shot of some smoke, on a crystal ball sitting on a mirror with Athena riding a Dulphin through the Milky Way wereing Smarty Pants and pictures via the Hubble Space Telescope!!

OH Boy!! I sure didn't see that coming!!
