Default Link to new flash rig

Although I know a little bit about Lighting, using flash has presented some challenges... especially on my macro efforts. A hodge podge of bits and stuff... This is a link to my latest incarnation and a description of it's evolution...

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff... take pictures of it

LOL... it IS ...but then I get to hold a boom microphone on a pole all day at work sometimes...

actual weight I will guess at around 6 lbs or 2.5 kilos... I'll weigh it and post.

Hope you are ok in the UK Karl... The flooding there is heartbreaking from what I've seen...

Brian certainly gets credit for the use of the mini ball head for a flash mount... I have now "Taken it up a notch" and added a third flash. Although it looks heavy, it balances well and is right at 6lbs with all the gizmos. Shooting macro has become sort of a "Yoga" form of exercise with all the crouching and stretching...

I'm liking the quality of light using two highly diffused side fills with the main source overhead... i just wonder what appears in those compound eyes when this is hovering around...
