Default Kenko tubes for Canon EF-S

I note now there are three sellers of Kenko extension tubes for Canon on eBay. Two of them clearly state in their ads that the tubes will NOT work with EF-S lenses. The third is advertising tubes that DO work with EF-S and shows a box clearly marked 'for EF and EFS lenses'. Were it not for the box, I would assume this to be an error but I now wonder if Kenko has come out with a new model. Another possibility is that these are unofficial copies (not made by Kenko) but modified so they would fit.

Has anyone seen any official word about this or, better yet, seen the new tubes? As of this time, the Kenko page on the tubes still says "Canon EF-S lenses are not applicable." The EF-S tubes on eBay are selling for considerably more than the other two but this could be of interest to owners of the Canon 60mm macro lens.

Hm - just had a look. Hadn't heard about these. Think you can get the pro-optic set from Adorama in the US that does support EF-S. Even the non-EF-S supporting Kenkos are easily modded to fit an EF-S lens.

Just an update Doug- mentioned this on another forum and a couple of people have replied that they have the new ones- they seem genuine, no sign of the internal baffles that stopped the old Kenkos being used on EF-S lenses and they do fit EF-S lenses
