How'd you get it to stay still for 20 shots? What kind of setup do you use to change the focus accurately for each shot?

nikon1 I replaced the image as you suggest, with a contrast bump.
Swampler, first off I put the wasp in the freezer for a while. After it shuffled off its mortal coil he was much more manageable for the 20 shots. For the setup I used a reverse ring and a 28-300 Sigma zoom. It works great for this kind of stuff. The details always amaze me.

Interesting thing I never knew is that the eyes seem to wrap right around its head so they must be able to see in front, side and back at the same time.

I was just asking in another thread - how do you guys manage so many shots with a moving subject short of spraying the guy with nitrogen.

Edit - ahhh freezer method. Wife would freak out if I did that....
