A Fly and a Plant Hopper
Thought I'd share a couple of recent shots. As usual I'm open to all CC. I shoot handheld with diffused flash. Thanks for looking.
Plant Hopper (from above) - a little windy when I shot this one. F11, 1/100, ISO 400, FEC 0  Fly (Cheers to anyone who can provide a proper I.D.) F11, 1/200, ISO 400, FEC +1/3  __________________

The plant hopper is my favorite here, Deb. He is quite sharp with real good detail. Well, so is the fly, however, I'm not in the mood to like flies at the moment. I just spent a couple of hours out on my carport and I had to swat at flies with my hand the whole time I was out there. They buzzed in my face constantly. I was trying to get a shot of a fledgling mockingbird and the flies made things difficult.

Thanks Jim! I have to admit I hate flies too, but I have a renewed appreciation for them when viewed through my macro lens. What I really hate right now is ants!!! Yikes they're driving me crazy.
