It's a type of weed that I don't know the name of.. Around 1' stem with thorns at the top that stick to anything that touches them..

The feathery bit in the center of the bud looks like a dragon, or a phoenix rising. I'd love to see one pod isolated, with those spikes surrounding the dramatic center.
