Some bad news
So I know I don't know any of you very well as I'm so new, but I feel like I'm establishing a some new relationships. Anyway I won't be around for some time. I was woken up at 11 tonight by alot of screaming and yelling and my door being smashed in by my amazing neighbor and a cop. I lost my studio. 25 years of artwork and equipment. Pretty much everything I am is gone. Some thug stole a cat and after he was done with it apparently parked it behind my house and burned it. Well it blew up and took everything. I am lucky to be alive. I did salvage my camera stuff. But what I lost is significant. So it will be months before I have stability again. Anyhow just wanted to say I'm not a fly by night. I really enjoy these forums and hope to be back soon. D

Nothing you're is gone.
Your safe and insurance will take care of the equipment. The lost work on the otherhand... will be difficult. There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the other in the year's course. Thanks for the well wishes. I have no cable or Internet so it's all iPhone for a minute. But I will check in. Ironically I took almost a thousand bug shots this morning in the swamp and got en all uploaded and ready to show off. First robberfly actually caught the bee I was shooting. Anyhow thanks again. D

This is terrible, and I would be as upset as you are.
Remember, you are safe. You did save some of your equipment. This is an opportunity, as bad as it seems, for you. It is not understood right now, but it will be in the future months. Go with it. Blessings. |
