A recent email to the makers of Radio Poppers enquiring to send units to Australia had a reply to state that the units as sold in USA/Canada are not suitable for use in Europe or here due to radio interference from mobile phones.
I am however intrigued by the following paragraphs from the instruction manual. "Your PX Receiver provides a handy feature for selecting a Radio Channel. In most cases, all of the channels will perform equally well. However, the PX units share a radio frequency band with other devices such as wireless microphones and other control systems which may be present in your environment. The Auto Radio Channel Selection feature will go through each radio channel and listen to the level of background radio signals. The test loop is performed 50 times and the levels of each channel are averaged. The PX Receiver will then lock in the channel with the lowest measured background radio signals." Has anyone on the forum used their US units in Europe or overseas. Any problems? Your thoughts? ![]() __________________
