I have the Photogenic AKC320BK 320 W/S AC/DC Traveling Studio 2 Light Kit with the wireless remote option.
I used them at a shoot recently and one of the strobes would fire when I pressed the test button but the other would not. Through some fiddling with the remote, I found that one head was set to one channel and the other to a different channel. I followed the directions to set the head to the channel that I wanted (tried both heads, different channels, even turned off and unplugged the other so no interference) but no matter the combination that I tried, I could not get either head to switch channels. According to the manual, you press and hold the little button on the side of the light head (the head flashes), then press the "test" button on the remote (the head flashes again). At that point the channel should be set. Nope. Anyone have any insight into this? Thanks, Dan __________________
