According to Canon, The 7D **DOES** use a "N3" connector for the remote shutter release.
The Yongnuo RF-602C (CANON MODEL) comes with the same connector...... Did you try the MANUFACTURERS eBay store ..... eBay My World - hkyongnuophotoequipment Austen. __________________

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work with the 7D. The 7D has the normal hotshoe, so it will trigger a transmitter ok. It also has an N3 connector to connect the cable from a receiver to trigger the camera shutter. The only thing I can think of that might be different would be the half-press feature, and I can't think of why that would be different than the other Canon cameras. Also, and I may be mistaken, the wireless feature that you are referring to is an optional wireless hookup for linking to a computer to download what you're shooting.

"Generally" wireless (in this context) refers to the "wireless" flash trigger, as opposed to a off-camera-cord.
I don't think he's referring to the WiFi grip that does photo transfer to your 'puter...... Austen. |

I see that the 5D also states that it supports wireless multi-speedlite control. |

I **THINK** the 7D built-in flash can act like a ST-E2 ..............
Austen. EDIT: Looks like I'm right... |

Are you speaking "generically" about the show...Or was there a specific Yongnuo stand there that you weren't impressed with ?

If (when) Yongnuo makes a transmitter module for my L-358, I will buy these. I might buy a set anyway, but the module will seal the deal.

I think it is a perfectly doable DYI project. The transmitter is pretty small and should fit in the Sekonic's compartment. I can try this one day. Moreover I need several more receivers , which are not available separately. So if I buy a set i will have a spare transmitter.

I have 2 RF602 transmitters and 5 receivers. I use 1 transmitter on the hot shoe to trigger the lights and 1 receiver hooked to camera to operate from a transmitter I carry with me. Each receiver and transmitter can be set to 15 different frequencies. If anything interferes with the signal, just change the freq. using the accessible DIP switches. No misfires yet. The only problem was when I ordered a 3 receiver kit, it only came with one sync cord for flashes. I had to order individual cords.

just curious, what is the highest sync speed this unit will support? I saw a question asking if it will sync in at 1/500th ...answer was 'no'...has anyone tried it at 1/250?
