Try a large office supply store. If that does nto work try a framing shop.

Could you maybe get a couple pieces and then brace them with a bit of balsa wood or some other light but strong wood? Could give you a handle even for behind so you don't need to touch the white and risk getting it dirty. It is probably much cheaper to get 2 smaller pieces than one big one. Heck...you could even hinge it so that it makes it more portable. Just an idea.

Where do you live?

In the US you can buy from plastics distributers like Piedmont Plastics in 4'x8' sheets.

I got mine from Lowe's Home Improvement.*

They are 4x8' foam core insulation panels and are roughly 1/2" thick.* One side is Silver and the other is white with printing.* To get better consistency, I took part of my white seamless paper backdrop and cut it to size and used 3M spray adhesive to mount it.* Best of all, the panels were only $5 each.

He's not talking about 'Fom-core' the artboard. It sounds like he means Celotex or some similar house insulation panels... which is what I'm using for bookends too, by the way. Fom-core doesn't come in 1/2" thicknesses but GatorFoam does; but gator is pricey. Fom-core will warp with humidity changes and won't stand free very well.

Instead of calling, drop by a Lowes or Home depot and check the house insulation panels; there are several kinds and you can pick what will work best for you. I'm just using 1/2" rigid foam by 3M, $11 a panel plus 1/2 gal of flat black paint (to paint 2 panels, both sides).

Plus, picking them up was difficult since I had to find someone with a truck. I used them on a shoot the other night and was really pleased with their utility. The book I'm reading on lighting makes use of them a lot.
Whats the book ??Scotts book on lighting was as simple a starting point as i have ever read.
