SHoot on RAW and use a graycard in front of her face, that should do the trick.
What kind of lights do you use ?

NEVER use coffee filters, why would you do that ?
You have to use a colorcorrected/neutral source.

White won't work, because you normally blow out the red channel in most exposure, thus leaving indeed too much red/magnenta in the picture.

Just use a neutral graycard, I don't know if I can give you a link but try the www.dynatech.info cards, I use them and they are cheap and accurate.

Greetings,
Frank

Hi Frank. I've always used a white card for WB and it was always very accurate. Maybe the diffrences you are referring to show in extreme conditions (TJ's case maybe) otherwise a white card is excellent for CWB, from my experience at least.

Cheers.

It all depends on what you are used to.
I find a white card to be not perfect, unless you absolutly make sure you don't blow out ANY channel.
Greycards are very cheap so why not

I just ordered a Dynatech gray card on Frank's recommendation. I have been using a whilte sheet of paper so it will be interesting to see the difference.

Assuming you were shooting outside in daylight, would this system of taking the first pic of the grey card and adjusting WB in post still work, and would you use the card everytime the light or location changes to give a reference for each set of pics.

Outside is always a problem.
When I want to make sure it works everytime I use Qpac cards and cut out the gray part, I will place this on the model on a place were I can clone it out, in the Netherlands the weather changes every second

But NORMALLY I use a standard graycard for the first shot and just carry on unless I see a real change, for clients however I'm much more precise.

20D and Tamron 28-75 here too - notice that the tamron usually looks a little warmer than my camon lenses - (more yellow)
I use an expodisk to set my white balance and get good results.
