With plywood- I use 3/4 inch, finished on one side construction grade. One of my floor supports is 30 years old- no problems. Portable dance floor material is made of hardwood and will last just about forever in studio use.

Are you using seamless paper for the background? or did you use tile there too?

Thanks!

I used 2 sheets of tile board for the background against the wall and 2 for the floor.
