Default Larson 4x6 Mounting

Can anyone tell me why this may be happening? I have a photogenic 350 III Power Strobe that I am trying to mount my larson 4x6 softbox and backplate but it keeps pulling the strobe down and the box over. Any suggestios? Do I need a larger strobe for this particular softbox?

Thanks
Pia

I'm not familiar with the Photogenic strobe head. But it does sound like the softbox is too large/heavy for the mounting hardware. Many larger softboxes have fabric loops near the corners so that you can tie them off with rope to eyehooks in the ceiling or something like that instead of having to rely on the strobe head to support them.

I was kinda wondering about that, I currently do not have softbox only umbrellas.
Thanks
