Default Night time shooting....

I had a couple ask me to shoot a night time photo shoot. I have never done one before. Which makes me a little nervous. I am not sure how to accomplish getting a good clear image without the darkness over taking the shot. I am limited on my equipment. I do have studio lights (Flood kit) and my ProMaster 7200 flash. Do I need to find a location with outdoor plugs for my kit or is there something I can do?

Default Re: Night time shooting....

If you've got a few strobes, you could fire them wirelessly. I have an SB600 and SB800 with my Nikon D300 and get lots of possibilities to shoot wirelessly without the use of wireless triggers (ie the camera does it all for me).

If you've got the strobes, then maybe your Alpha can control them!?!

Cheers,

G
