Putting them on the light. Always softbox face down on a surface and then attach the light...then checking to see that it is 'really on'. Any other method (for me) seems to introduce risk.
Different softboxes, different color temperature? You bet. I normally use a Photoflex box but last weekend I tried a Paul Buff foldable octabox as a key. A couple of hundred degrees different color temp. __________________
