Default Light meter recomendation

I am thinking about getting a light meter to use both for a class that I am taking, and then to use after. I am looking at Sekonic L-358 but am not sure if that is the best bang for the buck. Cost is a big consideration, but then I want to get something I can grow with, and not have to upgrade. Does anyone own this one or one you would recommend?

thanks,
Danny

I have one. I love it. I've been using it with my studio AB flash lights. I have not tried it for outdoor lighting yet but the instructions say that it does that as well. I got mine from BHphoto and I think it's a great buy. It's one of the cheaper ones I've seen that pros recommend.

Good luck!
