Default Visual Echoes FX3 Better Beamer Flash Extender

I got a FX 3 Better Beamer for my Canon Speedlite 600EX-RTII which did not fit very well because it was made for the 600EX-RT.

Today I took my heat gun and heated up the end and pressed it against my flash with a leather gloved hand for both half's till they cooled.

Now it fits perfect, flush and contoured to the flash body.

Did you melt it to the flash body? Like it is all one unit now?

No,
I heated the flange you mount on the flash and held it on the flash till it cooled, then remove it and it will keep the adjusted shape.

It is removable just like before but fits the flash better than it did before.
