Default Tips for shooting please

I have a 1Ds2 a 550 EX Speedlite with a stroboframe flash bracket and Im just getting into wedding photography
As any one got any usefull tips ? like favorite modes/ speeds/ apertures/ ect
All tips appreciated

Suggest you use a Lumiquest bouncer or similar when there are no convenient ceilings or walls. Direct flash can be very hard (as aopposed to soft). Maybe you already have one but I thought I'd mention it.

Thanks John L I just got EOS magazine through my letter box and one of the sujects is all of these type of diffusers.
I have a simple stoFen omnibounce at the moment that im not impressed with to be honest
So think I will give your Lumiquest suggestion a go .

The StoFen is ok, but you have to pump up the ISO to at least 400 or 800 to bring the exposure up, in my opinion. I suggest puting a card behind it. I have a Flip-It that's velcroed to the flash and bounces some of that light forward. Of course if you use the StoFen you do have to have white ceilings to bounce.
