I didn't know about the tongue and grove plywood. That is what was originally in the back of my mind. Jerry has a point about it being a bit heavy. I already bought the tile board so I'll try that setup first but I think down the road I'll add the 3/4" subfloor. __________________

Quick simple lightweight and inexpensive sub lament for under the paper is a roll of Ram Board. It is heavy chipboard which is light weight durable and easy to handle / store. Two width taped together with gaffers tape like v flats will fold in half and store behind a sofa

I have used simple door hinges to attach the 2 4x8 sheets if plywood. I keep the hinges at the bottom if the wood. When I am finished with the shot I fold the boards for easy storage. break down and set up. I attache adhesive floor protectors all over the bottom of the plywood sheets to even out the height off the floor and prevent slippage. The small gap between the boards will not create any problems.
The tongue and grove sub floor material works well for location jobs. I simply pop the pieces together and use tape to hold then together and than tape the entire rig to the floor. Good luck with your project. Ed ![]() |

Boy do I wish I lived somewhere close to Bobby! What an opportunity! I'd rent time in your studio and then clean it, as well as wash your car for a chance to learn from you.
